In his career, he has poised to lead through change, identify issues and capitalize on opportunities and apply a variety of cost effective logistical methods to create an advantage among competition. He also serve as the Chief Executive Officer/ Director, Trans-Orbit Global Logistics (Pvt) Limited since 2011.
Janaka is a product from Nalanda College Colombo, Sri Lanka and has qualified in Charted Institute of Marketing (CMA), Charted Institute of Ship Brokers UK with Diploma and MBA in international business and Trade in the University of Warnborough UK.
Janaka Started his carrier in 1992 joining Sri Lanka's most respected blue Chip company, John Keells Holdings as a Trainee Executive being attached to Mack International Freight. Prior to start his own venture he served as General Manager – Commercial at Maritime Logistics Colombo (Pvt) Limited. Janaka is also the founder of Lanka Property Care (Pvt) Limited which he identified an essential service requirement for Sri Lankans living abroad.

Before joining real estate industry, Chatura was an entrepreneur who grew three businesses from start-up to profitable business ventures through effective business planning, creative sales techniques, and innovative approach. Prior to that he served in telecommunication industry for more than 10 years. While his time in overseas, he understood the need of a one-stop-shop property service agency which provide exceptional quality and service. Having that in mind Chatura joined Lanka Property Care (Pvt) Limited to full-fill the need of a professional and reliable property management service company.
